Mike Nolan
Mike is the Founder and CEO of Military Talent Connectors (MTC). A proud Massachusetts Air National Guard veteran, Mike has spent his career in talent acquisition, most recently creating and managing the Military Recruiting Fellowship Program at Salesforce.
During nearly 11 years at Salesforce, he began as a Sales Talent Advisor and served as Global President of Vetforce, the company’s military and ally business resource group. Recognized as the go‑to expert for hiring military talent and spouses, Mike developed a deep passion for supporting service members’ transitions to civilian careers. He launched MTC to scale that work—helping companies attract, onboard, and retain elite military candidates through high‑touch fellowship and recruitment solutions that deliver measurable results at a cost‑effective price point.
Shannon Allena
Shannon is the Director of Operations at Military Talent Connectors (MTC), where she leads the marketing and operational strategies that connect employers with exceptional Veteran and military spouse talent. A proud Marine Corps spouse, Shannon’s firsthand experience navigating the challenges of military life fuels her commitment to helping spouses and transitioning service members build meaningful careers.
Before joining MTC, she worked in defense consulting across Joint, Navy, and Marine Corps environments and served as Program Manager for Salesforce’s Military Recruiting Fellowship Program, helping Veterans and spouses launch tech careers. Shannon holds a Master of Public Administration and brings a passion for systems, storytelling, and strategy to every partnership—creating opportunities that strengthen families, businesses, and communities alike.

Military Talent Connectors (MTC) was born from experienceand frustration. After seeing billion-dollar companies eliminate roles and overlook veterans, MTC’s founder realized a painful truth: many organizations want to support the military community but don’t know how. They lack the systems, training, and understanding to find, onboard, and retain the people who’ve already proven they can lead, adapt, and deliver under pressure.
MTC was created to change that.
Our team of veterans, military spouses, and corporate professionals has lived both sides of the transition. We know what it means to serve and what it takes to succeed in the civilian workforce. Drawing from years of experience building military recruiting programs and mentoring service members through fellowships, MTC bridges the gap between purpose-driven, military ally employers and military talent ready to perform from day one.
We guide companies in building hiring strategies that attract, integrate, and retain elite veterans and military spouses. For transitioning service members and veterans, we provide mentorship, resume translation, and fellowships that lead to meaningful, long-term careers.
