Our Process: How MTC Partners with Employers

We start with a conversation to understand your hiring goals, challenges, and team structure. This ensures every partnership begins with clarity and alignment.
2. Alignment and Agreement
After understanding your goals, we walk you through your personalized strategy, hiring profile, and shortlist of candidates. Once everything aligns, we formalize the partnership and begin execution.

Together, we identify an executive sponsor and align fellowship opportunities with your hiring managers’ needs. Our team then begins sourcing the ideal Fellows.
4. Candidate Introductions
MTC coordinates one-on-one calls between hosting managers and top military and/or military spouse candidates to ensure the perfect match before moving forward.
5. Fellowship Selection
We extend fellowship invitations through our trusted partners, such as Hiring Our Heroes. Once accepted, we finalize all logistics for a seamless start.
6. Conversation Preparation
Employers complete pre-fellowship training and KPI planning. MTC ensures both the Fellow and manager are ready for day one success.
7. Fellowship Support
We stay actively involved — mentoring both Fellow and manager, collecting feedback, and aligning with your TA team to prepare for hiring decisions.
8. Conversion & Ongoing Support
Even after the Fellowship ends, MTC continues to support your team with retention guidance, tax credit assistance, and ongoing access to our advisors.
